New Poll: Moon Tied With Durkan Among Likely Voters
9/13/17: Cary Moon is tied with her opponent, corporate lawyer Jenny Durkan, according to a new citywide poll.
Cary Moon has remarkable support among likely voters, particularly those voters self-identifying as “progressive” where she has a 30 point lead (57% – 27%), despite being outspent by $475,000 so far this cycle.
Even before the newest sexual abuse allegations surfaced, twice as many voters (48% to 24%) said they disapproved than approved of Durkan endorser Mayor Ed Murray.
“These poll results show Cary Moon’s broad vision and decades of experience resonate with Seattle voters,” said Bre Weider, campaign spokesperson.
National polling firm GBA Strategies conducted the survey on behalf of the Cary Moon for Mayor campaign September 6 – 11, polling 400 likely voters with a +/- 4.9% margin of error and 95% confidence level.
